Time for the customary look back at 2024, an Olympic year, by the way.<\/p>\n<p>While our year was marked by a few surprises and plenty of accomplishments, it also represents an important milestone for Olympe for, as we\u2019ve already mentioned, it was our organization\u2019s 40th anniversary. And as you read on, you\u2019ll realize that, like good wine, our not-so-small business only gets better with age.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Going the extra mile for worthy causes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In May, many of our Olympians put on their running shoes and hit the track to participate in the <strong>Dix de Coeur<\/strong>, a yearly activity that raises funds for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cardioforme.com\/\"><strong>Cardi-O-Forme<\/strong><\/a>, and organization dedicated to the prevention of chronic diseases through physical activity (see a connection?). The whole team was so motivated by the event that next year\u2019s edition will be called the \u201c<strong>Dix de Coeur propuls\u00e9 par Olympe<\/strong>\u201d and our very own general manager, William Audet, will be one of the event\u2019s ambassadors.<\/li>\n<li>Still in May, two teams of cyclists bearing Olympe\u2019s logo and colors saddled up and rode their bikes through Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie during the <strong>D\u00e9fi Cyclo-My\u00e9lome<\/strong> in support of a cause that is very dear to every past and present member of the Olympe family.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>An \u201cOlymp-epic\u201d growth<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>New bids, new mandates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year, Olympe responded to more than a dozen calls for tenders and was thus awarded major contracts for the management of workplace fitness centres as well as for various ergonomics, mental health, health and wellness, occupational safety and graphic design mandates. In addition to highlighting Olympe\u2019s unique expertise, these new opportunities further reinforce our strategic position as a leader on the market.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ouvertures de centres<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We inaugurated <strong>seven new fitness centres<\/strong> in Quebec this year. This brings to 75 the number of centres benefitting from Olympe\u2019s expertise and services. This also means that each week, <strong>about 1,000 people<\/strong> get their workout without leaving their workplace by participating in our group classes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A centre on the 39<sup>th<\/sup> floor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After three years of work and effort, we celebrated the grand opening of the new <strong>Health Centre<\/strong> installed on the 39<sup>th<\/sup> floor of the <strong>National Bank of Canada\u2019s new head office<\/strong> in Montr\u00e9al. Our sincere thanks to National Bank for entrusting Olympe with exceptional project!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mental health &amp; ergonomics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our <strong>mental health<\/strong> and <strong>ergonomics<\/strong> departments have also taken a lot of expansion this year, with numerous new mandates from organizations all over Quebec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our family is growing too!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To keep up with this impressive growth, Olympe ran multiple <strong>large-scale recruiting campaigns<\/strong> that allowed us to hire plenty of new talents and thus strengthen our expertise.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>A mid-life crisis?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Most certainly not! That said, though, Olympe did make an important change this year. Indeed, after more than 20 years at the World Trade Centre Montreal, we moved our metropolitan office to a new location in our client <strong>Qu\u00e9becor<\/strong>\u2019s building. Our office now occupies an open-type floor space that favors cooperative work while offering a breathtaking view of Montreal\u2019s Square Victoria.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ready for another exciting year!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>After a year like this one, the whole team is psyched up for 2025 and we are all impatient to discover what it has in store for us.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of the team, we couldn\u2019t conclude this text without a few words to acknowledge the outstanding work and dedication of our <strong>45 or so regular employees<\/strong> and our <strong>40-something group class instructors<\/strong> who, together, form the extraordinary Olympe family.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Thank you all for your essential contribution to Olympe\u2019s success!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The year is almost over, and what a year it has been for Olympe \u2013 its 40th, no less!
