Olympe Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which OLYMPE INC. collects, uses, maintains and discloses personal information collected from you and other users (‘you’ or ‘user’) when using this website (the ‘Site’), whether accessed via the Internet, mobile device, other electronic devices, or any other means. This Privacy Policy applies to the Site and all products and services we offer on the Site and on the OLYMPEFIT application.
We are committed to protecting your Personally Identifiable Information (as defined below) that we collect.
1. Definitions
- ‘Collection’ means the act of gathering, acquiring or obtaining Personal Information by any means and in any manner, including from Third Parties;
- ‘Consent’ means voluntary agreement to the collection, use and/or disclosure of Personal Information for the purposes identified by OLYMPE INC. Consent may be expressed or implied and may be given directly by the User or by an authorized representative. It must be unequivocal.
- ‘Disclosure’ means the act of revealing Personal Information to a third party;
- ‘Personal Information’ means any information that relates to a physical person and makes it possible, directly or indirectly, to identify that person;
- ‘Privacy Officer’ means the person at OLYMPE INC. who is accountable for compliance with and application of this Policy;
- ‘Third Party’ means a person other than a User, OLYMPE INC. or an agent of OLYMPE INC;
- ‘User’ means any customer or any person accessing any customer service offered by OLYMPE INC.
- ‘Use’ means the processing, handling and management of Personal Information by OLYMPE INC.
2. Responsibility
OLYMPE INC. shall inform the User at the time of collection.
OLYMPE INC. is responsible for personal information under its control and shall designate a Privacy Officer who is accountable for compliance with the principles set out in this Policy.
The Privacy Officer is accountable for compliance with this Policy. Other OLYMPE INC. employees may also be designated to assist the Privacy Officer or to carry out the day-to-day collection, use, disclosure and processing of personal information.
OLYMPE INC. will provide, upon request, the name of the Privacy Officer whose contact information is set out below;
OLYMPE INC. is responsible for Personal Information in its possession or custody, including Personal Information that has been transferred to a third party for processing.
OLYMPE INC. has developed various guidelines and practices to ensure that this Policy is applied in practice:
- Implementing procedures to protect personal information and ensure compliance with this Policy;
- Implementing procedures for receiving and processing requests for information or complaints;
- Providing information and training to employees regarding the protection of personal information.
3. What personal information do we collect?
3.1 In Olympe health centres
We may collect and/or forward to PAYSAFE and VITUAGYM two types of information from Users of our Site or our OLYMPEFIT application:
- Information that identifies you personally and that can be used to locate you, communicate with you, or establish your identity (such as your name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, user name, credit card information, information about your physical health, etc.), this information is kept in your account at PAYSAFE (see PAYSAFE’s privacy policy and Virtuagym’s privacy policy);
- ‘Aggregate information’ which is information about your activities on the Site or relating to the services and which cannot be used to identify you, locate you or communicate with you (such as the frequency of visits to this Site, the data entered when using the Site, the pages most frequently consulted, the type of browser, the links on which Users click, the IP address and other similar information).
3.2 All other Olympe services including billing
- Information that personally identifies you, and that can be used to locate you, communicate with you, or establish your identity (such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, credit card information, physical health information, etc.)
- Aggregate information which is information about your activities on the Site or relating to the services and which cannot be used to identify you, locate you or communicate with you (such as the frequency of visits to this Site, the data entered when using the Site, the pages most frequently consulted, the type of browser, the links on which Users click, the IP address and other similar information).
4. When do we collect personal information?
- When you subscribe to the OLYMPEFIT application to pay for our services or products, we ask for your name, address and credit card information;
- You can modify your profile and provide information that identifies you personally, such as your address.
- When you enter a contest through the Site.
- When you make comments, provide feedback, or submit suggestions through the Site or on the OLYMPEFIT application.
- When you visit the Site, even if you do not log in, we collect information related to your computer’s operating system (i.e., Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, etc.), your IP address, the web browser (i.e., Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc.) that is being used, the originating Website, usage data related to your activity on the Site, including the pages you visit or share, the features you use, and the total time spent on the Site. This data is used to analyse the performance of the Site and services.
You may refuse to provide information that identifies you personally, but this could prevent you from having access to all the features of the Site.
5. Web browser cookies and other technologies used to collect data
In addition to collecting the data described above, we use various technologies to collect information from your computer and about your activities on our Site.

OLYMPE INC. shall limit the collection of personal information to that which is necessary for the purposes identified at the time of collection. OLYMPE INC. will collect personal information from the individual to whom it relates, unless the User or the law authorizes collection from a third party.
OLYMPE INC. will take reasonable steps to ensure that the Customer is advised of the purposes and means for which Personal Information will be used when the User provides consent.
